Overland Park, KS – November 22, 2021 – INDATEL is pleased to welcome John Ivanuska to our team as our new Vice President of Sales & Marketing.
At INDATEL, there are two distinct components to our organization: sales and service delivery. In John’s new role as Vice President of Sales & Marketing, he supports the team on everything leading up to the service delivery aspect, including sales enablement, business expansion, product expansion, and more. In addition, he is responsible for reviewing opportunities and leveraging INDATEL’s 31 member company networks to determine how we can best portray and fulfill those opportunities using those footprints.
INDATEL receives a high volume of requests for service each day, so John’s team is responsible for the quick and efficient evaluation of all potential opportunities to confirm serviceability, pricing, and the “last mile provider” being used to provide service. “Our goal is to make sure every order INDATEL receives is able to be delivered by our service delivery team quickly and efficiently, and exactly as our customers’ intend it to be,” John said. “I’m also heavily focused on leveraging and expanding the strong INDATEL brand so our current and potential customers understand who INDATEL is and what we offer. Diverse solutions using ‘fresh fiber’ is something our customers look for from INDATEL”
John attended the University of Buffalo, where he received his Bachelor of Science in Accounting and his MBA in Finance. He went on to have an extensive career in telecommunications, approximately 40 years. He’s worked at several well-known companies, including Sprint, Verizon, Birch Communications, and XO Communications. Although John has worked in telecommunications for nearly his entire career, he appreciates that the industry is constantly evolving, and he is always learning something new.
According to John, he is most looking forward to continuing to develop INDATEL as a product and expanding the scope and depth of the customers we sell to. “INDATEL has evolved mightily over the last several years thanks to the diligent efforts of our team. So the potential to proliferate the product with our current and future wholesale customers is immense. It’s also a goal of ours to expand into the enterprise and government space in 2022” John said.
“Since starting at INDATEL, every day has been exciting. There are 18 of us, and when we put our heads together, there isn’t a problem we can’t solve in a matter of minutes,” John said. “We can change on a dime and get to the right answer by being able to flex our processes to do what’s right. It’s an exciting thing, and a different experience for our customers.”
In his free time, John enjoys being close to family and hosting family gatherings with lots of food and fun. He and his wife, Debbie, are also major sports fans and enjoy checking baseball parks they’ve visited off their bucket list they started nearly eight years ago.
