Position Description/Purpose:

As the Marketing Manager at INDATEL Services, you will play a pivotal role in driving our marketing strategy to increase brand visibility, generate leads, and support revenue growth. Reporting directly to the Director of Marketing & Member Relations, you will work with a team of talented marketing professionals, collaborate cross-functionally, and spearhead initiatives to position INDATEL Services as the premier choice for connectivity solutions. As the INDATEL Marketing Manager, you are expected to coordinate and curate product-related marketing communications that inform and educate customers on current product offering and industry trends. The Marketing Manager will develop and deploy strategies to leverage content for adaptation and use in various mediums while ensuring messaging is cohesive among all strategies. Additionally, the Marketing Manager will leverage social media and is expected to plan monthly social media calendars in advance to schedule postings based on marketing strategies developed. Scheduling software is utilized, and training is provided. Special projects including branding, assisting with member-only events hosted by INDATEL, and more will be involved with this role.  The candidate is expected to provide support for other departments as needed with guidance from upper management.  Following are the key marketing responsibilities/outputs of the position:

1. Strategic Planning: Develop and execute comprehensive marketing plans aligned with company objectives, leveraging market insights and industry trends to drive growth and competitive advantage, with guidance from Director of Marketing & Member Relations.

2. Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of marketing professionals, fostering a culture of creativity, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

3. Brand Management: Oversee brand positioning, messaging, and identity across all channels, ensuring consistency and resonance with target audiences.

4. Digital Marketing: Drive digital marketing initiatives, including website optimization, SEO/SEM, email campaigns, social media engagement, and digital advertising to enhance brand awareness and lead generation.

5. Content Strategy: Develop engaging content strategies that showcase INDATEL’s expertise, products, and value proposition, including thought leadership articles, whitepapers, case studies, and multimedia assets.

6. Campaign Management: Plan and execute integrated marketing campaigns across multiple channels, measuring and analyzing campaign performance to optimize ROI and drive lead generation.

7. Partnership Development: Cultivate strategic partnerships with industry organizations, associations, and influencers to expand reach, enhance credibility, and drive business development opportunities.

8. Market Research: Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify growth opportunities, customer needs, and emerging trends, informing product development and marketing strategies.

9. Event Management: Plan and coordinate participation in industry events, conferences, and trade shows to promote brand visibility, generate leads, and build relationships with key stakeholders.

10. Budget Management: Manage marketing budgets effectively, allocating resources to maximize impact and ROI while maintaining fiscal responsibility.

Much of the job is done by computer and phone, however, travel is expected with this role as our members and customers are dispersed around the country. This includes attending member-hosted functions, trade shows, and various other events and meetings.  The qualified candidate will possess a proven record of success in marketing or sales in similar industries or comparable experience that makes the candidate uniquely qualified. This is an important and respected role within INDATEL and is critical for the successful execution of the company’s strategic plans.

Qualifications:

Education and experience requirements typical for this position include:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communication, or related field. Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be given adequate consideration.
  • 5+ years of experience in marketing, with a proven track record of success in B2B technology or telecommunications industries.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience, with the ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams to achieve ambitious goals.
  • Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights and results.
  • Deep understanding of digital marketing best practices, including SEO/SEM, email marketing, social media, and content marketing.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and persuasively to diverse audiences.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a dynamic environment.
  • Passion for innovation, technology, and making a positive impact on underserved communities.
  • Valid driver’s license
