Position Description/Purpose:

The National Wholesale Enterprise Account Manager is responsible for partnering with Member Company Enterprise Sales Teams to increase the scope and success of Member Company Enterprise Sales opportunities covered by INDATEL’s national product footprint (“Wholesale Enterprise”).  The incumbent must possess a keen insight into Enterprise Sales success that will facilitate incremental revenue growth for Member Companies’ Enterprise Sales Teams.  This is a key new Sales role within the company, which will increase Member Company Enterprise sales and position INDATEL to develop the capabilities to sell directly to Enterprise customers as the Carrier of Record (“Direct Enterprise”).  Specifically, the below are the key responsibilities/outputs of the position:

  1. Work collaboratively with Member Company Enterprise Sales Teams to expand the scope of existing Enterprise Sales opportunities to include Enterprise Locations beyond those locations that Member Companies can serve directly.
  2. Utilize Enterprise Customer Market Research that is National in scope and provide Competitive pricing that enables an expanded scope of Enterprise “Wins” for the Member Company Enterprise Sales Teams.  
  3. Provide Member Company Sales Teams with Competitive National (Request for Proposal) RFP responses.
  4. Provide Market Research and expanded/national Lead Opportunities for potential new Enterprise Customers located in Member Company footprints.   
  5. Secure Service Orders to bill revenue for all additional Wholesale location “Wins” served by INDATEL
  6. Compile the key functionalities required for INDATEL to serve Enterprise customers directly as the Carrier of Record, and support the enablement of that functionality internally at INDATEL.   

The Account Manager will acquire, analyze and enhance Enterprise lead generation data provided by Member Company Enterprise Customer Sales Teams, as well as presenting broader solutions that position Enterprise Sales Teams to compete for and win incremental business for Enterprise customers using INDATEL’s national footprint.  Additionally, this position will be instrumental in supporting National/Regional Enterprise RFP opportunities and assist in the efforts to secure, negotiate, and complete agreements with major National Enterprise customers.  The Account Manager will be accountable for successful implementation of all locations where INDATEL will be utilized.

This position provides a great opportunity for the incumbent to influence and develop all key capabilities that will enable INDATEL to sell directly to Enterprise Accounts as the “Carrier of Record” as soon as INDATEL establishes these capabilities.



Education and experience requirements typical for this position include:

  • 10+ years’ experience in a telecommunications environment
  • 10+ years recent telecommunications experience & knowledge with a combination of experience in the following is highly preferred
    • Enterprise Sales
    • National RFP Management
    • Enterprise Network Solutions
    • Enterprise Lead Generation
    • Enterprise Sales/Sales Development
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, Marketing or Technology field.  Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be given adequate consideration.
  • Valid driver’s license
