Position Description/Purpose:
The Sales Operations Manager is responsible for the execution engine that supports revenue across all sales channels, ensuring that pricing, order readiness and technical validation happen accurately and efficiently. This role is a central point of accountability for shared sales resources up through order execution.
Responsibilities:
Sales execution and operational ownership:
• Own pricing responsibilities across all channels (wholesale, enterprise and future channels)
• Own sales process workflows from opportunity intake through signature
• Manage intake, prioritization, and throughput of pricing and pre-signature order activity
• Ensure orders are priced accurately, margins protected, members engaged, and are technically accurate
• Establish and enforce SLAs for shared sales resources
• Ensure proper usage of sales systems
• Identify bottlenecks, failure points and inefficiencies and recommend and implement process improvements
• Support system transitions and enhancements with minimal disruption to sales
• Track and report on key metrics

Team Leadership:
Directly manage the sales coordinators (pricing team) and the solutions project managers.
• Capacity planning and workload balancing
• Performance management and coaching
• Clear role definition and accountability

Qualifications: Education and experience requirements typical for this position include:

• Some experience in a leadership position preferred
• 3+ years in telecom, network services or complex B2B sales environments
• Proven experience in sales operations, commercial operations, or pre-sales execution
• Experience supporting multiple sales channels simultaneously
• Strong understanding of pricing, quoting, and ordering in a carrier or wholesale environment
• Must be willing to attend offsite training and travel as required
• Valid driver’s license
• Legally authorized to work in the US without restrictions and/or sponsorship
