INDATEL Helps ValleyNet Gain Business for Tenth Consecutive Year
Overland Park, KS – May 5, 2021 – According to Charles Richardson, General Manager of ValleyNet, ValleyNet has a history of successful partnerships. Of those partnerships, is a 10-year relationship with INDATEL.
ValleyNet is a provider of fiber transport capacity along fiber routes in Pennsylvania, Virginia, West Virginia, Tennessee, North Carolina, and Florida. They are operated by Local Exchange Carriers (LECs) whose service territories fall along the route.
Their network uses the latest state-of-the-art fiber-optic technologies and provides services to Inter-exchange Carriers, POPs, LEC LSOs, wireless cell sites, data centers, and on-net building locations. ValleyNet also offers Ethernet and Gigwave circuits.
“Throughout our 30-year existence, we’ve been a part of various successful partnerships. In fact, ValleyNet was born as a result of strong connections,” Charles said. “We were formed when five companies with existing partnerships came together to compete against the big companies back in the 80s.” Since ValleyNet joined the telecom industry back in 1989, they have gained business they wouldn’t have otherwise gotten if it weren’t for the connections they made along the way.
According to Charles, ValleyNet’s relationship with INDATEL has been fruitful for their entire team and has allowed them to create connections around the world. “What sets INDATEL apart in the industry is the relationships they have nationwide with local telephone companies and other connections ValleyNet is interested in,” he said. “INDATEL can get to locations we can’t get to on our own, so they help us serve more of our metro and rural customers.”
ValleyNet also benefits from INDATEL’s annual meeting, as well as other meetings they host throughout the year. During the meetings, their team takes the information that INDATEL brings to the table and uses it to best serve their customers going forward. “The meetings that INDATEL hosts are invaluable to us,” Charles said.
While the COVID-19 pandemic affected ValleyNet in both positive and negative ways, they are starting to see the light at the end of the tunnel and are excited to accomplish their goals for the year. Of those goals is maintaining their current customer base. They plan on achieving this by continuing to provide existing customers with good customer service and the latest in technology.
Another goal of ValleyNet is to continue its relationship with INDATEL. “INDATEL is a very innovative company and they have provided us with connections, information, and revenue growth,” Charles said. “We’re excited to see what we can accomplish together in the next ten years.”
